The next step of the Our Village, Our Future visioning process is to produce a report that communicates the outcomes of the visioning process, which are the priorities, principles, and goals of the Village’s next Master Plan. Rather than produce a stand-alone document, the approach being taken is to make this report the first section of the Village’s next Master Plan.

The production of this first section will include several review cycles of drafts of the section by the Planning Board’s Master Plan Subcommittee, the Planning Board, and the public. A draft will be available for the Ridgewood community to review in January. The following is a general timeline for this work:
November 2019
- Complete First Draft
- Submit to the Planning Board’s Master Plan Subcommittee for Review
December 2019
- Review Comments with Planning Board’s Master Plan Subcommittee
- Produce Preliminary Draft
January 2020
- Submit Preliminary Draft to Planning Board
- Post Preliminary Draft for Public Review (post on Village website + place paper copies at Library & Village Hall; review period will be approx. 16 days)
- Compile and Respond to Comments Received
- Prepare Final Draft
